Where It All Began

Five-Star Craft, Everyday Pasay

Artisan Baker PH was founded in 2022 by two Taiwanese chefs whose combined careers spanned elite hotel pastry kitchens across Japan and Taiwan. Working in high-pressure five-star environments, they honed techniques that most home bakers and commercial bakeries never access — from the exacting discipline of Japanese wagashi and nama-cream confections, to the architectural precision of French-influenced entremet cakes.

The question that drove them to Manila was simple: why should five-star pastry quality be reserved for hotel lobbies? They believed the everyday Filipino dessert table deserved the same level of care, technique, and premium ingredients — without the formal setting or the markup. Pasay City, with its dense community and discerning local palate, was the right place to start.

Launching initially on the LAHAT FOOD delivery app in June 2023, Artisan Baker PH found its audience quickly. The Nama Miruku cake roll series — a direct homage to the soft, cloud-like Japanese roll cakes mastered in those hotel kitchens — became an instant signature. Today, with over 5,500 Facebook followers and a 100% recommendation rating, the brand has grown into one of Pasay's most-loved artisan bakeries.

No Compromise on Craft

We use the same techniques practised in five-star hotel kitchens — not because it's easier, but because it's the only way to achieve the texture, flavour, and finish our customers deserve. Every Nama Miruku roll is proofed, filled, and rolled by hand. Every tiramisu is built layer by precise layer.

Quality Ingredients Only

From premium Japanese cream to quality cocoa and fresh mascarpone, we source only ingredients we'd be comfortable putting our name to. Our Pumpkin Seed Tuiles are made with premium whole pumpkin seeds; our Almond Tuiles contain no artificial fillers. If an ingredient isn't up to standard, we don't use it.

Launch on LAHAT FOOD Delivery

Artisan Baker PH officially launches on the LAHAT FOOD delivery platform, making their Nama Miruku cake rolls and artisan pastries accessible to Metro Manila via same-day delivery. The debut is timed to Valentine's season promotions, building immediate buzz.

GrabFood and FoodPanda listings go live, dramatically widening the bakery's reach across Metro Manila. The Nama Miruku series becomes a bestseller on both platforms, and the brand's social media following begins its rapid growth.
